Make Way was a system based solution which went about solving the lack of communication and information displayed on public transport in Auckland. Using a sister-ship comms display, between app and screen, meant that users with and without smart devices were aware of their journey.
This project gained traction within Auckland Transport, as well as with Maynard Design.

“How can the new public transport system in South Auckland communicate better to its commuters?”
Focusing in on a planned new network of buses and trains through the South Auckland region, there faced difficulties in making it less stressful for commuters who were unfamiliar or misunderstood how to use the new network. There was a focus on fluid movement and ongoing supportive feedback, as well as a deeper look into accessibility as South Auckland houses a collection of cultures.
